The Division of Finance and Resource Planning is committed to:
- the provision of professional, efficient and client focused planning, financial and performance management services
- activities to enhance the core business of the University including space management, survey coordination, financial and other system enhancements and business process reviews
- supporting financial management, planning and quality frameworks which support the core activities of the University in achieving its goals
This will involve:
- completing core business activities whilst contributing to, and influencing decision making on strategic and financial management issues
- implementing an enhanced quality and performance management system in support of the QUT Blueprint
- implementing the University Space Management Strategy
- implementing the Financial Management Improvement Initiative, and a range of other financial management projects aimed at improved service, accountability and efficiency
- increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of our services, in particular through the BSI Review of Corporate Finance
- further integrating planning and resourcing activities across the University, with particular focus on promoting a "resourcing for results" culture
- increasing staff ownership and understanding of the Division's plan, and establishing a divisional culture that places a high priority on communication, teamwork, innovation, flexibility, integrity and client service
