Other Payroll Deductions
QUT offers all non-Casual/Sessional Employees the option to make regular direct payments from their pay for certain payments such as Union Fees, Medical Insurance, QUT Welfare Fund, etc.
Deductions can only be processed to organizations that are in the Payroll deduction scheme. Please note that if for any reason you are not due to receive a Payroll payment of at least the amount of your deduction the deduction will not take place in that fortnight. For example- if you have a Salary payment of $200.00 (Nett) and a Deduction set up as $201.00 the deduction will not occur and you would be paid the $200.00 into your nominated bank account.
All of your Payroll Deductions can be viewed in StaffConnect under the menu option-
