Salary Packaging (also referred to as Salary Sacrificing) is a key element of QUT’s remuneration and benefits framework. Salary Packaging allows eligible employees to arrange their salary so that a number of allowable benefits that would normally be purchased from post tax earnings are paid out of their pre-tax salary. The University has appointed PackagePlus Australia Pty Limited as its service provider for managing all aspects of salary packaging. Package PlusThe link below is to the QUT salary packaging portal. Here you will find salary packaging information including web presentations, to explain the benefits available and how they are accessed.

* (The in house bookshop and tuition fees can be claimed up to a maximum of $1000 each but if both benefits are packaged then a maximum of $1000 will apply for both benefits combined.) Senior Staff – Operating LeasesSenior Staff who are entitled to an Operating Lease (please contact HR to determine entitlement) are welcome to seek lease quotes from any lease provider. However QUT retains the right to refuse to engage in the lease contract, where the risk to the University of dealing with a particular provider is considered unacceptable. Senior Staff can contact the Senior Finance Officer – Salary Packaging via salary.package@qut.edu.au to seek a list of lease providers.
